I've had the problem for a while, even before softdevice started using
libavformat. It manifests itself as late frames for about 10 - 20 frames
every other second or so. It's only during playback of recorded content.
I can have three simultaneous recordings going on and watch live tv
without any problems.

It's a sata based setup, which might be a cause. And I also see tearing
sometimes when it happens, which might indicate it is related to an irq
handler hogging the cpu.
