Axel,

I _am_ using the I2C code, but only for DDC/EDID. I rely on my own code for
other uses of the I2C buses though.
I copied the dumping code for logging it in my own logfile, as I stated
before.

About logging: I am using my own logfile. I am not going to change that.
(did you ever have a look at the content that file?)
